The verdict

Best for: Serious hobbyists maximising open-source hashrate per socket.

Strengths

  • Highest hashrate available from an open-source design
  • ~16.7 J/TH, still excellent
  • Doubles a NerdQAxe++ without doubling the desk space

Trade-offs

  • Loud enough to need its own room
  • 160W is a real heat source in summer
  • Costs well over twice a ++ for twice the hashrate — you pay a premium for the density
  • Listed as coming soon at most vendors, and quoted prices vary wildly
